A main shared garden, an orchard of apples, pears and plums, blueberry and strawberry patches, and a flock of chickens that laid 4,288 eggs last year.

Workshop and tools

A workshop and a long shed full of equipment — ladders, mowers, saws — plus canoes, kayaks and bikes. Gym equipment in the detached garage.

Parking and storage

There are no personal garages. Instead every household gets a covered assigned spot with an EV charger and a private 90 sq ft storage unit, under a solar roof.

A shared lawn beside the Common House takes croquet, whiffle ball, frisbee and outdoor movies. Plus a village green with a gazebo and paved paths, and a loop road that doubles as a walking track — five laps to a mile.

Do I need to be approved?

No. The house is listed on RMLS and anyone can buy it — no committee, no interview. “Membership” is a process residents go through after moving in.

What is actually required of me?

Six hours of workshare a month per adult — and that includes taking minutes or doing research, not just physical work. New residents get their first three months off.
